Questions on Floor and Bathtub Treatments

Q1: How long will it last?
For floors and bathtubs, we guarantee an increased coefficient of friction (i.e., in layman’s term Anti-Slip effect) for 1 to 3 years depending on the complexity of the place of applications.

We have not added anything to the porcelain or enamel tub itself. The tub now contains an invisible treaded design and the treated solutions will be safely washed away.

Q2: Do I have to use a special cleaner?
For floor, clean as per normal like before treatment except for restaurants kitchens ,must use a degreaser to clean your floor. Otherwise, grease will build up over time causing the floor to be slippery again. Essentially, you would be walking on the layers of grease rather than the treated floor.

For bathtub, normal cleaning as before except harsh abrasives such as a scouring pad should never be used, even on untreated tubs as these will spoil your tubs anyway.

Q3: How long will it take to apply the Anti-Slip?
For floors, as a general rule of thumb, it takes two people two hours to treat one thousand square feet. We apply the chemical during slow times or after business hours so there is no down time.

For a typical bathtub, it only takes about half hour to an hour for treatment .

Q4: Will there be any change in the appearance of the floor?
On a very high gloss ceramic tile or marble floor you may notice a slight loss of gloss. But for the most part, there will be no change in the appearance  for both floors and tubs. Generally, for floors, we treat the entire area, so there is nothing to compare the treated floor to once the installation is complete.

For tubs we treat about two-third of the tub surfaces beginning from the base of the tubs.

Q5: Is there any warranty period ?
In general our  warranty is 1 year, but can be longer according to customer individual needs.

Q6: Will there be any reaction to the skin?
A: No, because there is no chemical remaining on the floor or tub after we finish the entire job. This is not a coating or a sealer. Once the chemical has been applied for treatment, it will be neutralized and rinsed down the drain thoroughly. What remains for you is a quality Anti-Slip surface and you can step onto your floor or use the bathtub immediately and safely.
